[Does he, though? He hasn't kept anything from Wesker, though it feels like his memories aren't nearly as traumatic as Wesker's are. How does Wesker handle it? His own method of "ignore it forever" probably wouldn't work.]

Because there are some things you don't tell others in good conscience - once someone knows things, it's impossible for them to return to a place where they didn't know.

There are some things you don't need to know about me, for that reason.

[Of the other Wesker, sure. But they aren't identical even if they are the same person. It's still hard to think about that, so he simply doesn't.]

You do know that I try to tell you what I can, however...? I still go to you first, if things change in a way that I can't handle.

Jaeger doesn't pursue it though, and instead focuses on what else Wesker has to say, which is definitely much more pleasant.]
