I can't even imagine... But then, the orphanage insisted on keeping us on a schedule when I was there, and my father - the man who adopted me - was a strict person with regards to timetables and planning. So I suppose it's to be expected.
[He shifts a bit, playing with his gloves a little; he doesn't seem bothered by the conversation at all - quite the opposite, really - just giving his hands something to do.]
Ja, it sounds like it! My upbringing was the opposite - we were mostly raised by nannies and their primary goal was to make sure we were happy. We didn't have strict routines except a bedtime, and even then we could usually get away with staying up longer.
I can't imagine growing up without my siblings, but I imagine you'd find the idea of having so many to be a bit overwhelming, ja? We certainly have had very different experiences!
We have. Granted, the orphanage involved being surrounded by people at all times - it was never anything I really liked, I found the lack of privacy grating.
But it wasn't terrible, I suppose. I was fairly accustomed to keeping my head down and not voicing my thoughts on things back then, so I imagine that helped.
[He's obviously very pleased to hear that, alright.]
Wandering around aimlessly like this can lead to some very interesting conversations! I wouldn't have expected we'd end up talking about this, of all things!

It sounds like you've had an interesting life.

[He laughs a bit once that's out there.]
I haven't thought about that in years.

You have siblings, then, from the sound of it...?

[Five?]
Are they still in Germany, then?

[It would've been easier to have more than just a cousin in the area, but oh well. He's settled in well enough, after all!]

[Wesker.]
I've always been an only child - at least, to my knowledge. If I have any biological siblings, I don't know about them.
[It's...possible, he supposes, that he has half-siblings somewhere. Hell if he knows where, and it isn't as though he's had much interest in looking.]

[Thanks, Recollé.]

[Who else is he going to talk to, Elda??]
You're a close friend, so I don't mind sharing information like that.

[He doesn't seem to know how to finish that, however, and so he just doesn't; surely Jaeger has someone else that he talks to...]

You don't need to seem so taken aback by it, you know!
[The teasing's light, though.]
no subject
...On the other, you're you, so.]
I don't know if I'd say I'm taken aback.
no subject
Then what would you call it, hmm?
