That's what it feels like! I waited in here specifically because I knew you'd have to come in here at some point, as opposed to the study!

[Even if it wasn't intentional, he gets the feeling you would have avoided the study.]

[It's the flattest question in the world, simply because who does that...

That said, however, he just...sighs a bit, and glances away after a moment; this is so fucking awkward.]

Can we at least move this into the study proper, so we're not standing around in here discussing things?

[It's not like it matters in the scheme of things, because it's not as though anyone is going to walk in and see them, but it just strikes him oddly to be standing around in the damn kitchen of all places trying to have a discussion about whether or not he's been avoiding anyone and why.]

But Wesker's question gets a nod from him and he moves to the study, occasionally checking behind him to make sure Wesker's following. You know. Just in case he's trying to ditch or something.]

[He's following, he's following - good lord, why are you fussing so much...

He'll sit down once they're in the study properly, in one of the usual spots that he takes when they discuss things; he doesn't seem relaxed, but he isn't particularly tensed-up, either - it's just sort of the usual for when he's entirely aware that he won't like the conversation that's going to ensue.]

You don't have to be so concerned about all of this. I'm not a very sociable person, you know that.

[That's probably a good thing, because at least that means the conversation will go somewhere.

Anyway, he'll take his usual seat once he's sure Wesker's (sort of) settled.]

[He's quiet for a moment at that, clearly frustrated with this in some way, before he shakes his head eventually.]

The memories have been difficult lately, I suppose. It's nothing that I'm not accustomed to by now.

Did you receive any more or are you just dealing with the ones you got while you were on the ship?

[He knows he shouldn't push too hard or it'll just drive Wesker further away, but he's curious and he's trying to help. Sort of. It's mostly curiosity though.]

[It isn't hesitant, but it's tense; there's a reason he doesn't like discussing these things, he made that plain last time.]

[Jaeger's not satisfied leaving it there and it's probably obvious, but he takes a moment to play with his sleeves and try to work the frustration out of his expression.]

[The frustration's back though and it's leaking into his voice.]
