[So. Today's been sort of a thing. It hasn't necessarily been a bad thing, but there are a couple of new people Jaeger recognizes on the network and that's always fun. One of them is slightly more pressing than the other though, and so when he shows up at Wesker's that evening he's even more over-the-top than usual.]

The funny thing is that I actually knew him before all of this, I just didn't remember his name until recently, so I didn't connect the dots.

Possibly? He's a lawyer, his name is Alexander Cumore. We've only met in passing, though.

The name is familiar, at least. He's likely attended some of the same galas I've gone to with Elda; I'll probably know him when I see him.

I haven't given that much thought yet. I suppose in a way it probably is a good thing, but of all people it had to be him...

Then again, I really don't get along with almost anyone else, so maybe that's a good thing too.

I suppose it comes down to what memories he receives as well.

His name is Sergei Vladimir; I believe I've told you about him before, though not by name. He's one of the men I knew with an affinity for knives - the one I met in that abandoned facility.

I remembered fighting him, after dealing with him in the fog. It was...a highly insipid fight, if you want me to be honest. It shouldn't have happened in the first place.

Because I had a gun with me at all times, and yet I never shot him until we were already fighting.

[HE'S SO MAD? He's very understated about it, as is his general way, but he's so fucking mad.]

I could have circumvented the entire thing, but for some reason chose not to.

...I can't be sure. I haven't been able to work out how I felt toward the man back then, in all the memories I've had involving him. It's...conflicting, for lack of a better term, though I remember being vaguely pleased to see him when it turned out to be him in the fog.
