[So. Today's been sort of a thing. It hasn't necessarily been a bad thing, but there are a couple of new people Jaeger recognizes on the network and that's always fun. One of them is slightly more pressing than the other though, and so when he shows up at Wesker's that evening he's even more over-the-top than usual.]
The name is familiar, at least. He's likely attended some of the same galas I've gone to with Elda; I'll probably know him when I see him.
[One of our assistant district attorneys was a hooker in a past life. That's what he's getting out of this.
...That said, though.]
...Is it a good thing for you, knowing that someone else from your world is involved with Retrospec as well? Or does the obnoxiousness outweigh any benefits?
His name is Sergei Vladimir; I believe I've told you about him before, though not by name. He's one of the men I knew with an affinity for knives - the one I met in that abandoned facility.
[...The one that likes cutting himself, for whatever reason.]
I remembered fighting him, after dealing with him in the fog. It was...a highly insipid fight, if you want me to be honest. It shouldn't have happened in the first place.
Because I had a gun with me at all times, and yet I never shot him until we were already fighting.
[HE'S SO MAD? He's very understated about it, as is his general way, but he's so fucking mad.]
I could have circumvented the entire thing, but for some reason chose not to.
[...He knows he shouldn't be this irritated about not straight-up murdering a dude, but oh my god that turned into a bossfight that he is not giving you details about because YIKES when it really didn't have to.]
...I can't be sure. I haven't been able to work out how I felt toward the man back then, in all the memories I've had involving him. It's...conflicting, for lack of a better term, though I remember being vaguely pleased to see him when it turned out to be him in the fog.
[...]
The fight I remembered was also...strange, along those lines.
[...was...was he into sergei? he has no idea but he thinks he might have been into sergei. um.]
11/1
Oh, Albert! The disaster has arrived!
[...he's not talking about himself...]
no subject
I see. You usually don't announce your presence quite so cavalierly.
[...Wesker, no.]
no subject
That's not what I... No, I mean the pastel disaster is here - he's on Retrospec.
no subject
Oh - the male escort, then.
[...Good to know your hooker is here? What does he do with this information.]
no subject
[jaeger.]
The funny thing is that I actually knew him before all of this, I just didn't remember his name until recently, so I didn't connect the dots.
no subject
[Hm.]
Anyone I would know...?

Then again, I really don't get along with almost anyone else, so maybe that's a good thing too.
no subject
[...I mean, with your luck one of you killed the other or something and he's going to remember that part first.]
Best of luck with it either way, I suppose.
no subject
Thank you. I do appreciate it!
You don't have anyone here that you recognize from your memories, do you?

[Right, that guy.]
What do you mean by that, though? Why shouldn't it have happened?

Oh my. I'm guessing you didn't have a good reason for not shooting him, you just didn't?
[He's trying so hard not to look amused but. listen. you're cute when you're mad.]

Ooh, that sounds interesting. How was the fight strange?
no subject
[Things he learned about himself recently: his past self was apparently a useless bisexual.]
no subject
My, it sounds like you had a lot of fun fighting him! Should I be worried~?
no subject
I should say not, if only because we spend far less time trying to kill one another.
no subject
That isn't something I'm all that interested in changing, so hopefully that's not the sort of thing you're into.
[wink!]
no subject
...I don't believe so?
