I'm worried that it'll make it easier for you to avoid me if you really want to. And I know it wasn't intentional this time, but what if it happens again? It'll be a little harder for me to tarck you down if I'm not staying with you, ja?

Mm... Yes, I suppose that's it. It's silly, isn't it? If anyone can handle what you've been stuck with, it's you. And there's no reason to think you will avoid or ignore me, intentional or otherwise.

[He's quiet for a moment at that - trying to process it, though he seems a bit confused in a muted sort of way.]

Well, I'm glad you do! The whole thing seems a bit ridiculous, really.

[It does and it doesn't; he isn't altogether sure how to articulate it, but he is grateful in some way that Jaeger is willing to do all of this for him.

Something is digging at him in the back of his mind, though - something about the memories he's been receiving, about the things he's done to people that have trusted him and wanted nothing but the best for him - and it takes him a moment to shake it off.]

[...And that would be more or less how they ended up on the streets of the city at some odd hour of the night, well before the late-night establishments close but after most people would be out and about; Wesker doesn't really have any criteria for where he would and wouldn't prefer to end up, short of "nowhere near the ocean" and "preferably not a bar." That latter one isn't due to concern that Jaeger will try to get him intoxicated enough to talk or do something stupid that he wouldn't normally, and more due to...well, it's a Monday, and he is not quite desperate enough to go drinking on a goddamn Monday.

But the city is nice at night, he supposes, and not having anywhere specific to be hasn't stopped him from parking in one of the city lots so they can just wander at their leisure for the time being.

[This is the sort of thing that Jaeger's always enjoyed. He used to spend his nights out like this back home in Germany, but he hasn't really done that in Recollé. It's sort of exciting to be doing this again, especially with Wesker.]

You've been missing out! You can find some of the most interesting shops if you look around, you know! That's how I became interested in running a store like mine, actually!
