...I believe so, yes. I'm not sure how long it was, exactly, but I get the feeling it had been in development for at least as long as I knew Excella, which I believe was a few years.

[It's decidedly easier to discuss Excella nowadays, thankfully.]

Possibly... Granted, with a project that large, I can see where it would have taken some time regardless of what I was doing with it.

[He just offers a quiet assenting noise at that for a moment, keeping his gaze high toward the buildings nearby.]

I know I've only really experienced things like that in memories, but it's...good, to not want that now.

It was consuming back then; I didn't have anything or anyone else. I have so much more now; I'm grateful for it.

[He pauses for a moment before tipping his head toward one of the office buildings nearby; it should be unoccupied for the most part at this time of evening, and the view of downtown should be good from up top.]

[He stops when Wesker does and follow his gaze upward, grinning.]

Ja, of course! Let's go!

[He'll move closer so you can pick him up too. C'mon, this looks fun!!]

[Yes, of course... He'll make sure there's no one immediately present before picking Jaeger up easily and setting off; as always, there's a lot of speed involved, but the jump up seems easy enough when he does it - the same sort of process as last time, finding something lower to launch off of and get them up onto the roof.

When he lands, it's hard, but at least it's not, like. Concrete-breaking. Just very heavy-sounding, because he's not particularly made for clean, pretty landings unless he's really trying for one.]

[As long as we're both fine and he doesn't have to worry about whether that landing broke your legs or anything it's good! Who cares if the landing isn't the prettiest thing in the world?]
