Alex is an objectively attractive person with the general look of someone that is currently divorcing you, Wesker looks like he wants so little to do with this that he's trying to become one with the furniture, and on the mantle up above them and to the left we've got a portrait depicted of the crazy old man who locked both of them in a murder basement and made them do little-child Hunger Games.
