Well, I can't say that you're the easiest person to be with, no... but it's always been worth it. No matter what we go through, no matter what you're forced to deal with, it's always worth it. I never thought I'd be this happy.

...But you're right, it is a relief. I do worry about you - more than I should, maybe - so seeing you relaxed like this is really nice.

I know. It happens sometimes, of course, because I'm easily riled up and easily upset. I never blame you for that, though. I try not to get worked up so easily, but it's difficult...

I understand, I don't like to see you upset either. I've never once doubted my decision to date you. I knew this would make me happy, and I certainly wasn't wrong! This is the happiest I've been in a long time. I can't imagine where I'd be without you, but I know for a fact I wouldn't be happy like this.

I appreciate that you're willing to go over what Retrospec gives me from time to time. Notes like the ones I received today are always something of an experience.

...I really am glad you're okay after receiving these. I can see where they could be really upsetting.

I honestly don't know what I was expecting. It should have been exactly that, but somehow I thought he'd be less...

[He waves a hand, presumably indicating all that.]

I only remember speaking to him once, you know. I thought about him from time to time, but I don't think I ever met him in person before the night that I killed him.

Needless to say, that was a rough first meeting.

I'm somehow both surprised that it was your first meeting, and not surprised at all that he'd act like that.

I was working under his orders for a long time, but I don't remember ever seeing him in person. I think he was the one telling me what I was supposed to do back when I was working with S.T.A.R.S., but I couldn't tell you for sure. I don't remember much of that time yet.

I did receive a couple of things relating to them as well recently. S.T.A.R.S., I mean.

[He'll finally pass that photograph over; it depicts twelve people, some of whom are recognizable - Barry, Chris and Jill, as well as Wesker himself - and some of whom...decidedly aren't - they're all standing on what looks like an airfield in front of a helicopter, holding weapons of varying sorts.]

Rebecca isn't there, so I assume it's an older picture; apparently there were thirteen of us total.
