[...God, just. Let him go kind of quiet for a while, all right; this is nice but it's sort of A Lot, and as such processing it is going to slow down a bit while he tries to get himself sorted.

[That's fine, he's gotten used to this! Jaeger leans into the hair-playing, of course; it's comfortable and he really does enjoy it. For now he won't pester Wesker any further, though he's looking pretty damn pleased with himself.]

...you know, if you want to think about something delightful, this conversation is happening while elsewhere there are approximately thirty screaming bats flapping their way through this house in abject terror while the dogs are having a wonderful time chasing the hell out of them

and they're all screeching badly-harmonized mariah carey in their fear

wesker doesn't mind the bats, granted, he thinks they're sort of cute

but i just wanted to immortalize this mental image in your head

the past several conversations have been held to a chorus of screeching sentient plant life occasionally streaking past in the background

[There's no hesitation behind it; he really does enjoy it about as much as Jaeger does, he wouldn't do it so much otherwise.

[He leans into Wesker's touch, humming a bit as he does so. Jaeger's obviously pleased with it, even if he doesn't have much to say (for once). This is comfortable, after all.]

[After a while he'll shift positions a little - not to move away, but rather so it's a bit easier to pull Jaeger closer to him. Contact really is nice today, and so is the relative quiet; he does appreciate that Jaeger generally lets him have his space and decide what they're doing, but today he's all right with more of it. So come here, you.]

[Jaeger lights up at that, immediately moving closer and settling back into Wesker's touch. He's still looking entirely too damn pleased with this, but at least he's not saying anything? He's definitely happy with more contact though; he's always been very fond of it.]
