[Oh no, how dare you be so cute?? He'll return that immediately/ The sound he makes is quiet but pleased, it's not quite a laugh, but it's close enough. It would be an understatement to say that he's pleased with this. It's been a long time since he got to cuddle up with anyone quite like this and he's honestly missed it more than he'd realized. So don't you dare let go.]

[He has no intention of letting go just yet; the sound it gets is a little unexpected but he doesn't move away. He's released Jaeger's hand to bring him closer, to actually hold him properly, though he's continuing to toy with Jaeger's hair with the other; he lets his fingers run through it lightly for a little while before trailing down to his neck, kneading into the skin there.]

[That gets another sound out of him, this one lighter but just as pleased. Jaeger leans into the touch, tipping his head just enough to get his bangs to fall into his face, but he flicks them away without looking too troubled by it this time. He's enjoying himself and he's not going to let his stupid haircut get in the way of that.]

[Ah, that... It gets a quietly amused noise in return, anyway, as he returns his hand to Jaeger's hair; it had taken some getting used to at first, surely, especially when it came to things like this, but...well.]

It really does look nice on you, you know.

[He knows Wesker wouldn't say it unless he meant it. Jaeger leans into the hair-playing with a grin.]

I'm glad to hear it. It's taken some getting used to, but it's not all that bad! It still does get in my face all the time, though.

I'm sure that much is annoying, yes - I do like it, though. Just overall.

[His touch remains gentle as his fingers run through Jaeger's hair, and he'll nuzzle up against him again after a moment. He usually isn't one to be this intimate; just the same, it feels nice once in a while, and it seems worthwhile to do this sort of thing today.]

I'm really glad you like it!

[Especially because Wesker's the one playing with it right now. This is really nice; Jaeger returns that nuzzling immediately, settling back into Wesker's touch easily. He gets riled up quickly, but he's just as quick to settle and now is certainly no exception to that. He really does enjoy things like this, and he doesn't want it to end any time soon especially because Wesker usually doesn't initiate contact like this.]

[Contact is still kind of a weird thing, as Wesker goes; it always has been, in fairness. Today it isn't troubling him, though; there's still an uncertain awkwardness behind his actions, the general sense that he isn't altogether sure what he's doing, but he doesn't seem inclined to let go or pull away anytime soon, either - he just...settles a bit, and he'll relax properly eventually, and though the hair-playing slows a little bit when he does it doesn't stop, either.]

[That's fine, as long as he's not stopping entirely we're good! Jaeger's content to cuddle in silence for a little while before finally speaking up.]
