[Look, he can't help it if he's that obvious!! Anyway, he waits patiently for Wesker to get the door after the dogs have calmed down and then he moves toward the study once he's been let in.]
It's good to see you, Albert! So how have you been doing?
[Never mind that it's only been a few days, it feels like it's been so much longer.]
[...Well, this is...kind of reaching new and impressive levels of sad, but he'll play along for now, albeit not without shooting Jaeger a strange look first.]
Ja, I did! Apparently I was very good at disguising myself, because I acted like a completely different person in this memory. I was trying to stop a fight only for a strange group of people to step in and save me. I've seen these people before - they've been in several of my previous memories. They're apparently called "Brave Vesperia" and apparently they thought I was "Regaey", whoever that is.
[He shrugs a bit before continuing.]
I have no idea what was going on there or why I was dressed as someone else and I can't see how that fits into what I already know about... well, this other version of myself.
[He says it casually, but he's suddenly become very fascinated with his gloves. The memory itself isn't really bothering him, but the idea that these are his memories still troubles him.]
Perhaps it had something to do with whatever goal you were trying to pursue, though I can't say I can see how.
[...That said, though, he isn't going to push too hard on the memories being Jaeger's; though he'd switched to first-person references quickly enough himself, the idea still bothers him, and he imagines it's similar for Jaeger as well.]
The goal seemed to be "start a war" but I'm not sure how disguising myself as this man and stopping fights is going to accomplish that. I'm sure there is some sort of plan involved, but I have no idea what it could be.
[He sighs once that's out there though, shaking his head.]
I suppose it's too soon to start trying to put pieces together. I'm sure I'm still missing a lot of memories.
Ja, I should be! I still don't know nearly enough about the situation to be messed up by it.
[Starting a war is definitely worrisome, but that's still all the information he has on it. It'd be nice if he could get memories about that back, but of course not.]
The most bizarre thing was that I could drop my accent entirely! I think I'm going to be more baffled by this memory than upset over it.
[..."Let's be confused about this" is far better than "let's be upset over it," so he is entirely content to leave that be because really, fair point.]
Good to know, then. Do keep me updated on anything else you find out...?
You seemed at least mildly disturbed regarding some sort of incident with your bodyguards a while back - did you ever work out what was troubling you about it?
Certainly! The less worrying I do over these memories, the better.
[It's easier said than done, but he'll try not to worry! That's how he handles everything, after all. It doesn't usually work but he tries!! Sometimes.]
It's as good an approach to it as any other, I suppose.
[Particularly if it's going to be something you find upsetting, honestly - it's better to disregard it than try to process it, sometimes, especially if you can't keep a solid divide between you and the person in your memories.
...He sort of has a lot of issues with this still, especially now that he can't compartmentalize as easily, but the less he considers it, the better.]

I can't complain. Yourself?
no subject
Mm, not much to complain about here either.
[Besides you know. Crushing loneliness. But that's not important and he's going to keep ignoring it!!]
I did get a strange memory, though. I'm still trying to figure out how it ties into what I already know.

[The implication is clear behind his words - go on, get to it.]

Are you going to be all right...? Confusion aside, of course.

[Except the part where we apparently all yell our attack names but that's stupid and he's ignoring it.]
no subject
You have, yes.
[Ah, speaking of...]
You seemed at least mildly disturbed regarding some sort of incident with your bodyguards a while back - did you ever work out what was troubling you about it?
no subject
[He says, like he hasn't thought about it in awhile...]
To be honest, I was so wrapped up in everything that's been going on that I haven't stopped to give it much thought!
[He was totally avoiding thinking about it, as you do.]
no subject
Possibly for the best, all things considered.

[Which is probably "never" but you know what this is totally fine and will absolutely not bite him in the ass later.]
no subject
[At least you've calmed down a little on that front since he told you that he doesn't like it, but still, dude, you press him a lot.]
no subject
[He's not sure how Wesker handles it, to be honest.]
no subject
[...He just manages it in weird ways sometimes, like ignoring you for days.]
It's good that yours don't seem too troubling for the most part, however.
no subject
No, they're fine! For the most part, anyway!
[The ones that haven't been fine are things he's gone back to ignoring, anyway.]
no subject
[...]
Outside of that, I assume everything has been going well enough.
[...He is trying very hard to not just bluntly ask you why you're here.]
no subject
[EVERYTHING'S FINE AND PERFECT DON'T ASK QUESTIONS]
no subject
[So yeah.]
no subject
Maybe I just wanted to share that memory with you! It doesn't always have to be because something's going wrong in my life!
