[That is a much better alternative to trying to find the words he wants and Jaeger's quick to return the kiss. He brings a hand up to play with the back of Wesker's hair gently, and to encourage him to stay right there for just a little while longer.]

[The hair-playing is nice, drawing a brief, soft noise out of the back of his throat, and even when he breaks the kiss off he doesn't pull away; he remains close, nuzzling up against Jaeger and just...existing, for the time being.]

[That's good, the closer he is, the better. He'll return the nuzzling of course, the gesture affectionate and gentle, though he's still vibrating. It's a lot to take in, but it's the best damn thing that's ever happened to him.

He still doesn't have the words he's looking for, but he doesn't stay silent for long.]

[His hand will resume playing with Jaeger's hair a bit; he'll pull Jaeger a bit closer with the other, pressing him up against him a bit more firmly.]

Yes, it did! I still believe that's the most precious gift I've ever been given. The ring is nice, of course, but the stone is far more important!

I don't really know if I can explain it, but being able to hold something so precious like that was incredibly important to me. It still is; I can't imagine being without that stone now.

[The words are gentle too; he's not trying to get Wesker to speak, but it's something Jaeger needs to express.]

[It's fortunate, perhaps, that he's not trying to get Wesker to respond to him; it gets a quiet noise out of him - acknowledgement that he's heard, and that it's a generally positive thing - but not much else. It's been a very long time since he's been overwhelmed like this, to the point of not being able to say anything; the hair-playing is nice, though, and at the very least he'll settle into that, relaxing enough that it's likely able to be felt.]

[He knows. He's never been bothered by this, and he'll keep playing with Wesker's hair even when he speaks up again.]

I really am so happy with you. I never really put much thought into marriage; I never would have expected that it would make me this happy! But then again, I never thought I could even be this happy. You really are the best thing that's ever happened to me!
