Yes, it did! I still believe that's the most precious gift I've ever been given. The ring is nice, of course, but the stone is far more important!

To be honest, I hadn't really thought about them... But it was really nice that you let me hold onto yours. I didn't want to let go!

I tried to avoid thinking about them for a long time - seeing as mine was...rather damaged, I didn't particularly want to show it to you...

It was good of you to not mind that... You really did seem fond of holding it.

Of course I don't mind it. You've been through a lot, but it remained intact; I'll always make sure to keep it safe.

I don't really know if I can explain it, but being able to hold something so precious like that was incredibly important to me. It still is; I can't imagine being without that stone now.

[He doesn't really have words to say to that; he just lets his grip tighten a bit against Jaeger's body, holding him close against him and nuzzling up to him again. The gesture isn't desperate, but it is urgent in a way that he usually isn't; this is...kind of a lot, all right...]

[He understands, it's almost overwhelming. It's certainly not a bad thing, it's just a lot to take in right now. He'll return the nuzzling of course, shifting a bit so he can run his fingers through the back of Wesker's hair again, the motion gentle and repetitive.]

Thank you. For the stone, for marrying me, for... everything, really. You've done so much for me, Albert.

[The words are gentle too; he's not trying to get Wesker to speak, but it's something Jaeger needs to express.]

[It's fortunate, perhaps, that he's not trying to get Wesker to respond to him; it gets a quiet noise out of him - acknowledgement that he's heard, and that it's a generally positive thing - but not much else. It's been a very long time since he's been overwhelmed like this, to the point of not being able to say anything; the hair-playing is nice, though, and at the very least he'll settle into that, relaxing enough that it's likely able to be felt.]

[He knows. He's never been bothered by this, and he'll keep playing with Wesker's hair even when he speaks up again.]

I really am so happy with you. I never really put much thought into marriage; I never would have expected that it would make me this happy! But then again, I never thought I could even be this happy. You really are the best thing that's ever happened to me!

[Normally he'd be frustrated with it, but the hair-playing is nice and soothing and for the time being he's content to just focus on that instead of the lack of words; he really is happy, though, and the sentiment is generally the same as the one Jaeger is expressing to him - he never thought he would be this happy, with anyone else or otherwise - and so for a little while he just kind of vibrates a bit, holding Jaeger close and nuzzling up against him again.]

[He doesn't need Wesker to tell him, he already knows. He also knows Wesker isn't fond of having moments like this, and he keeps the hair-playing even and steady, even as his words pick up in pace.]

I'm so glad things have worked out like this - I'm so happy with you, and I'm so happy we've finally gotten the perfect chance to be married... I honestly don't know how I'm ever going to calm down after all of this! Or how I'm ever going to let go... Ah, but we don't need to worry about that right now! You could always just carry me upstairs whenever we decide we should sleep~!
