I know. It happens sometimes, of course, because I'm easily riled up and easily upset. I never blame you for that, though. I try not to get worked up so easily, but it's difficult...
I understand, I don't like to see you upset either. I've never once doubted my decision to date you. I knew this would make me happy, and I certainly wasn't wrong! This is the happiest I've been in a long time. I can't imagine where I'd be without you, but I know for a fact I wouldn't be happy like this.
I'm glad! I wouldn't want you to think that I've been questioning this or anything like that! I was so certain that this would make me happy, and I certainly wasn't wrong!
I appreciate that you're willing to go over what Retrospec gives me from time to time. Notes like the ones I received today are always something of an experience.
Of course! I'm very curious about your past life, after all. And besides, being here for you is important to me. I always want to discuss these things because maybe it'll help you.
...I really am glad you're okay after receiving these. I can see where they could be really upsetting.
I only remember speaking to him once, you know. I thought about him from time to time, but I don't think I ever met him in person before the night that I killed him.
Needless to say, that was a rough first meeting.
[...He literally met the guy for the first time and he immediately started in on YOU WERE CREATED TO SERVE ME, YOU HAVE NO FREE WILL, MASS-PRODUCED GOD CHILDREN, ETC, it was kind of insane.]
I was working under his orders for a long time, but I don't remember ever seeing him in person. I think he was the one telling me what I was supposed to do back when I was working with S.T.A.R.S., but I couldn't tell you for sure. I don't remember much of that time yet.
[...]
I did receive a couple of things relating to them as well recently. S.T.A.R.S., I mean.
[He'll finally pass that photograph over; it depicts twelve people, some of whom are recognizable - Barry, Chris and Jill, as well as Wesker himself - and some of whom...decidedly aren't - they're all standing on what looks like an airfield in front of a helicopter, holding weapons of varying sorts.]
Rebecca isn't there, so I assume it's an older picture; apparently there were thirteen of us total.
I believe there may have been more sent, because Rebecca wasn't a member of my unit, and I have no idea why they would have sent someone who wasn't mine off with me - she should have been with the rest of her own set. But if they sent all of us, I don't know what happened to the rest... I know I wanted Barry to help me destroy evidence, but I didn't tell him to kill anyone.
[...]
I...mentioned to Chris, when I told him that I had betrayed them all, that I was using S.T.A.R.S. for something. I expressed something similar to Birkin... It's possible that they're dead because of me. I'm not assuming that I personally murdered them or anything of the sort, but generally "using people for something" doesn't bode terribly well.
[He wants to just reiterate that he's all right and there's nothing to be concerned about, but after a moment he manages to figure out words.]
I'm a bit disturbed by not knowing what happened, or how many of us were there. I dislike not knowing if they died, and if so, whether it was my fault or not.
So I'm...bothered by it, but it's manageable.
[...He sounds sort of like he'd rather die than admit any of that, but at least it was honest.]

[Even if you say it's worth it.]

I'm okay, I promise.

[For...some reason.]
It isn't your fault, however - it bothers me a bit, but not because of anything you're doing.

[He settles a bit once that's out there.]
You really have made me so happy, Albert. I love you so much.
no subject
I love you too. Always.
no subject
Always. I'll always be right here for you, no matter what.

[That was. Weird? That was weird.]

[He waves a hand, presumably indicating all that.]
Well, if you do start feeling upset or worked up about it at any point, I'll be here.

Needless to say, that was a rough first meeting.

I'm somehow both surprised that it was your first meeting, and not surprised at all that he'd act like that.

I didn't realize there were so many of you. Were only a few of you sent on that mission to the mansion?
[...or did everyone else just like, die horribly or something.]

[He's quiet for a moment at that.]

I'm sure you'll remember what happened to them eventually.
[...]
It might be kind of silly to ask, but are you okay?
no subject
...I believe so. S.T.A.R.S. is always something of an odd topic for me, but I should be fine.

[He'll nuzzle Wesker again, relaxing a bit as he does so.]
