[That just gets his grip to tighten again; words have been giving him trouble today, as much as he hates that, and now it seems that he's going to be lapsing into silence again - just...give him a moment, he's somewhere between overwhelmed and hating himself for it.]

[He moves to nuzzle Wesker again; it's okay, he's not going anywhere and you're safe now. It still doesn't feel like it's enough, but at least he's doing something to help. He'll keep doing what he can.]

[It really is going to take him a long time to settle; when he does speak again it's quiet and off-topic, but at least it's something to say.]

...My phone's battery died at some point; I would have texted you once my memories returned in Bosuma, but that turned out to not be feasible.

[Being reassured like this is nice, in some way that he hadn't realized he needed; it helps with getting some of the tension to leave him, anyway.]

[He doesn't know why this is striking him so oddly; maybe because he's spent the last several days with nothing but memories of being expendable.]

I'll always be patient with you, you don't ever need to worry about that.

[You absolutely aren't expendable now, okay. He'll make sure you know that.]

I think everyone needs something like this from time to time. I know I've certainly needed it before.

[His grip tightens a bit; he's definitely not going anywhere.]

[That gets him to pause for a moment before he just nods a bit, the gesture tight; he settles a bit more against Jaeger, leaning a bit more thoroughly into his touch. He doesn't mind the blastia any, from the look of it; this is nice, all right.]

We may be here for a while, then.

[That's good, it's a bit uncomfortable, but he's just happy he can be this close to Wesker.]

That's perfectly fine. I wouldn't dream of leaving you right now.

[That'll get him to nuzzle up again, anyway.]
