Well, it's true that I have a hard time looking at everything the same way you do, but I do understand that. Do whatever it is you need to do in order to pick up and move forward.
[It's as encouraging as he can be given the circumstances. He still has a lot of gaping holes in his memories but at least he's (probably) not a bioterrorist. There's only so much he can really say to try to help; this is something Wesker will know how to handle better than he would, if only because Wesker's already dealt with so many terrible memories.]
