Yes, that's right. I think the worst thing I've been asked to do is break into a building... or play a 250 square game of hopscotch, though that was just a test of endurance.
[In this heat? Hoo boy.]
Do you particularly enjoy fighting, or is it just coincidence?
...I'm not a pacifist, but it's not anything I'd ever had reason to do before. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would, however. Perhaps I'll take it up in some way.
[You know, more in a martial arts way than a street fighting for kicks sort of way.]
... He did not question it too hard because the young man who informed him sounded quite serious about it, and also seemed pretty disturbed, and it also got him a memory back? It's haunted him for like, two weeks now.]
To my knowledge, they caught the person who did it, but... It's still more than a little startlingly to think about, isn't it.
[Like, to say the least. Yeesh.]
But to back track a little -- you don't fully believe these are memories? I realize it's a rather popular theory, though I'm inclined to think they're more like visions of a parallel world myself.
I'm not sure what I believe. Metaphysical dealings have always been a bit beyond me; I work in hard science, so while conjecture surely has its place in the world, this seems more in line with being a matter of faith. Not precisely, mind, but close enough.
[...They're a fucking mess, Goro.]
I'm certain a fair few of us would prefer that you were right, either way - visions of some sort of parallel world would indicate that this is something that might have been, down a road not taken. As opposed to something that certainly came to be and as such reflects on us more strongly, in a manner of speaking.
In a manner of speaking. Someone I know told me that they might be set in stone, but the people we are now can be whatever and whoever we'd like; I find it comforting advice, if true.
[... Silver also got mad jealous that a ten year old was cooler than him, but. Details.]
Have you... met anyone that had the same visions as you?
Yes, someone I'm quite familiar with shared his vision with me and it... triggered, I suppose, the same vision, though from a different perspective. I saw him, I heard him, it was the exact same person in every way -- except we didn't know each other, and it felt as if we were worlds apart.
[So to say.]
I'd seen him before in a previous one, but I thought that perhaps it was just someone who looked similar... While parallel worlds are my favored theory, I'm not exactly sure if even that is right.
...This is quite the first conversation to have with someone you've just met. Though I can't say I mind - I find the entire process fascinating, if a bit unsettling at times.
I'm sorry, I simply find it easier to speak with strangers. There's a certain appeal in the fact that this may be our only time speaking to one another.
[and he's just kind of like a grandma in a grocery store when it comes to talking to people. look politely interested and you are in for some conversation with very little escape.]
What do you find fascinating about it? Simply that things trigger these visions in the first place, or is it something else?
[Thankfully, his dissonance is at an all time low right now!]
Mine have been... normal so far, if souring because of what I don't have. Normal outside if sharing them with another, anyway. Are yours particularly odd?
[I mean he's gotten some things that were run of the mill crazy, and then there was the entire thing where a plant ate a dude and became a six-story abomination, and everything Lisa Trevor decided to be, and the fact that he remembered a seven-foot-tall Soviet communist that calls everybody "comrade", served with the Red Army because of course he did and is literally named Sergei Vladimir. Because Wesker's memories apparently decided they weren't vaguely racist enough, or something.]
You, um, have my condolences. [... He doesn't know how to comfort anyone, whether they need it or not.] I hope it's nothing too preferable to whatever you do now, since I realize that some people might feel that way about these visions. Though I doubt it is.

I'm assuming that's why you're calling...?

How realistic... Though it is better to focus on what you have, or work towards something similar if there is a part of it you like if you can.
