It's something that's always troubled me in some way. Questioning whether I actually care or not, I mean.

You were in a terrible place after he died, ja? You might not have missed him in the way you expected, but you were extremely pleased to see him again, and you spent so much time with him! You wanted him to be there for our wedding, and you're coming back here now... It's pretty obvious to me that you care so much about him.

[That gets a quiet noise out of him; it's easier to look at the gravestone than it is to look at Jaeger right now.]

I'm really glad he was. I'm so happy you were able to talk to him again, and getting to see such an important moment... It really is wonderful.

[He'll go quiet, once that's out there; he isn't altogether sure what to say beyond this, he's just...

His grip on Jaeger's hand is going rather tight, however; not enough to hurt, but definitely enough to be felt.]

[He'll return it, don't worry. He'll also move a little closer, not to touch any further, but just to be here. He knows it isn't easy, but he's not going anywhere and he's right here if you need him. He'll even remain quiet for once in his life! It's a miracle.]

[That's likewise quiet, but again, it's genuine.]

I don't know if I'm supposed to do anything at all, or if I am, if it's something in particular; I just know I don't really want to leave.

To be honest, I don't really know what people usually do here... I think it depends on the person, and what you think you need to do. Just spending time here might be good - it's always been important to you to spend time with the people you care about, ja?

[It's okay, having someone else to look at it from a different angle certainly helps!]

Of course. I think it's good that you want to continue doing this. Even if you don't really know what to do, I think it's good to spend time like this.

[The silence is more comfortable this time; he doesn't usually feel like he has to fill it, but something about this had felt odd to him before, something he can't really pinpoint. This is good, however, and he seems to be relaxing a bit the longer they stay here.

It's starting to get cold, the seasons finally seeming to turn quite a bit; he'll be okay out here for a bit longer, but he is starting to feel it.]
