It's things like this that make me wonder exactly when we got accustomed to our lives being this way.
[All right, well, the guy who can't die should probably be the one to test this out, right, it's just a matter of figuring out where to even- OH OKAY yeah the glitchy shit does in fact work on private residences' walls, it's not just limited to his hellspawn dogs clipping through things, awesome.
It really does prove that you can get used to anything!
[Anyway, yes, of course he'll be right behind you! He's always lowkey worried about you testing stuff like this out even if you probably won't die, but thankfully this doesn't look like anything too terrible, so! Let's glitch our way inside, hell yeah.]
[Hell yeah - ...and now we are in the foyer, and that sure does look like his cat wandering in to see what the noise is? She seems fine for the most part, though she'll approach eventually because she likes people and this is just fine except for the part where she suddenly kinda freaks the fuck out in new and vaguely alarming ways.]
Do they just appear after awhile or did you have to do something to get Silver to show up?
[He'll glance back at the glitchy cat again before heading off; c'mon, let's start with the rooms on this floor, since it's probably more likely we'll find him here than upstairs.]
[You know, he kind of hates to ask this while we're wandering through his house and his massive fuzzball of a cat seems to have gotten her shit together and is following after us like she wants something, but...]
[He trails off there, suddenly really damn fascinated by something over there, so he doesn't have to look at Wesker.
Obviously he can't avoid the question forever and he eventually forces himself to look back and answer it properly.]
...No, I don't. We know a good bit about each other, but that's mostly because of our past lives. If we didn't have that in common, I don't think we'd care to get to know one another at all.
[It's obvious he doesn't really like that, but at least he's honest about it.]
[He's at least proven that he isn't the sort to give up easily, and Cumore's clearly not getting rid of him any time soon, even if he isn't on Retrospec anymore.
He'll fall silent after that, but after a moment he'll reach out for Wesker's hand.]
I think so. I just... I don't like that they're gone and we don't know when - or if - they'll return. Usually when Retrospec breaks things it only lasts for the month, but assuming that everything's going to be fine just doesn't sit right with me.
...We'll make sure you can see him, Jaeger. You can interact with him a little while he's here, though he won't be able to speak to you. Sometimes their presence can draw creatures of some sort that try to attack them. They can be destroyed, however, just be careful.
But we'll make sure you can talk to him for a little while, at least.

[oh my god, no.]

Come on, Jaeger.]

...I suppose that...could be worse...
no subject
[Not like he's going to get any closer to check on her?? Yikes. That sure is a thing that's happening.]
no subject
...Where do you think he's most likely to be? Since he's...apparently not with the cat.
no subject
[He kind of figures Cumore will not be messing around with pomegranates? Probably???]
no subject
[...Oh my god please don't tell him about the pomegranates ever.]
Sometimes it can take them a while to show up; don't be concerned if he isn't here immediately.

[What does Cumore like, um.]
Well, I know what he doesn't like, so this is going to be... interesting.
[we are never gonna find cumore, are we.]
no subject
In fairness, he doesn't seem like the most open person...
no subject
He really isn't... I suppose I should make an effort to get to know him a bit better once they're back.
[Because they will be coming back, right? Right...??]
no subject
[Especially since you seem to want to be friends with him?]
no subject
[it sounds like "somehow" should be on the end of that, but at least he doesn't say it!!]
no subject
Do you know how he thinks of you...?

[It's okay, Jaeger, it happens. For now, let's just focus on this, okay.]

no subject
He'll allow it, of course, taking Jaeger's hand tightly in his own.]
Are you all right...?
no subject
I think so. I just... I don't like that they're gone and we don't know when - or if - they'll return. Usually when Retrospec breaks things it only lasts for the month, but assuming that everything's going to be fine just doesn't sit right with me.

no subject
[It'll be okay. Just take it one step at a time.]
And of course I won't let anything hurt him.
no subject
[Well, here's one of those large rooms that he tends to open up for parties, and it's got - ...is that an open bar, really.]
...I tend to forget he has this. I'm surprised he goes out at all, all things considered.
no subject
[Cumore totally won't mind if he checks this out. It's not like he's going to take anything! But man, look at all of this...]
