I'm not sure what to make of that either. But with all of that... Ja, I'd say it sounds like you were fond of her, even if it wasn't in the most conventional way.
[He's not really sure what to make of any of that and it probably shows. It's not a bad thing though, it's good that he was able to care about someone like that even if it was... sort of bizarre, really.]
...I think a fair amount of my relationships were like that.
[Like, now that he's thinking about it?]
Several of my memories involve not caring about people, or even overtly declaring that I hate them, and subsequently trying to kill them with varying degrees of success - but my behavior and my reactions to them don't seem to match up with that very well.
[It was like that with Sergei, too, and with Chris, and now with Excella... The only person he treated in any sort of sane manner was that woman from Edonia, he's fairly sure, and that was before the whole loss of humanity thing.]
[He's quiet for a moment, just...thinking about it, but - ]
It's as I told you before, I only had the one halfway normal relationship; everything else was bizarre. I'm sure it will make sense in time, if it's meant to.
[He's not sure why he's avoiding the topic like this; it's something Jaeger deserves to know about, but...not now, they've already dragged his past life into this enough.]
You still owe me information about your world, you know.
[Well, maybe Wesker will want to talk about it at some other point. He's not going to press, instead he'll nod.]
The location I remember most clearly was a city - the top portion of it was built up with stone and looked complete, but I didn't spend a lot of time up there so I couldn't tell you much else. Beneath the city was still under construction, there were tents there for the workers and little of value down there. That location is where I met with Cumore and discussed war, and also where I fought against some meddling kids.
[And their dog. But that makes him sound like some kind of Scooby Doo villain knockoff.]
Aside from that I remember being in my house, though I couldn't tell you what it looked like. I was a bit more focused on the man trying to kill me. There was also a cave, and another city... but I don't remember much about either of them.
[He lifts his shoulders a bit in a shrug.]
I could draw you a map of the world, though I couldn't name specific places. I don't know very much about my world, unfortunately.
I wasn't bothered at all at the time, but I have no idea how I managed to take any of them seriously. Between their clothes and everything that dog decided to be, I'm amazed I didn't just start laughing at them and never stop.
[No, really, it's not like he hates the guy or anything, he just finds him kind of annoying; at the same time, schadenfreude is everybody's friend right now, let's put it that way.]

..."Meddling kids." Really.
[Anyway...]
Why, exactly, was someone trying to kill you?

[Seriously, all of his memories are so out-of-context...]

The dog was there too. I lost to a dog.
[what the fuck was his life.]

No wonder you couldn't stand it.

I've yet to see anything that's quite as bad as Cumore's outfit, but no one looked good.

You haven't given him any warning at all about that outfit, have you.
[It's not exactly a question; if he knows you at all, of course you haven't.]

[HEY AT LEAST YOU LOOK GOOD IN YOUR CLOTHES]
I'll let you know when he gets it back, because I'm sure he won't be able to resist messaging me to yell at me for not warning him!

I'm looking forward to it~
