[It's not like it's been all that long since he last talked to Wesker, but it's worth asking anyway.]

...We last spoke a few days ago.

Well, you never know! You could have remembered something in those few days!

Thankfully, it's been quiet in that regard.

[And he would have been content leaving it at that, were it not for the sudden line of text making itself visible, thought-wise - the words are clear for a brief moment before they dissipate.

And in other regards, not so much.

He doesn't seem aware of it; he moves on easily enough, anyway.]

I haven't remembered anything outside of that pair of people I told you about, which is fine - sometimes I receive several at once, sometimes it's quiet for weeks. Here's hoping this is the latter.

[All things considered, it's been a quiet week for Jaeger. He hasn't experienced the floating thought bubbles yet and seeing that prompts a thought bubble of his own.

Ah, right. I usually don't get very many at a time. I'm thankful for that, really.

[Thankfully Wesker's got the sunglasses on indoors today, as he usually does, and as such it's not obvious when his gaze flicks upwards, but still.

There is a pause, because um?]

...It depends on the subject matter, for me. Often they're related, when I get several at at time - it's interesting to see how they connect.

[Treat the damn thing like a puzzle box, in other words. It keeps him sane half the time.]

I suppose that's one way to handle it! I'll have to keep that in mind in case I get several at once!

[Well, that was strange but he'll ignore it for right now.]

It's not as though there's much else to do about it. And I have been feeling as though I'm closer to working out answers, so at least I have that much making it more tolerable.

I'm pleased to hear it. I hope you do find your answers! I'd like to get some as well.

Apparently so - I can't say I'm surprised, given how frequently you've been here.

[Judging from his tone, he doesn't find the frequency of it to be a bad thing.]

It's possible they'll continue to be somewhat aggressive toward you in person, but that's to be expected for a while.

Do you think they'll ever really get used to me?

[He does plan on being over here frequently, so presumably they will eventually...?? But that also means dealing with the dogs and he's not really looking forward to that.]

It took a long while for them to tolerate me, and that was when I was working with them frequently.

[...You're going to have to actually deal with the dogs eventually.]

So that's a "no". Good to know, though!

[But he doesn't like dogs...!!]

It's possibly a no, but at least they should tolerate you in some way.

I'll do my best not to irritate them!

I hope you're right about that. The last thing I want is for them to bite me!
