I'm asking moreso because "I don't care what we end up doing, as long as I'm doing it with you" is a little melodramatic for most people outside of your age bracket.

But as long as we bear that in mind, it's fine.

In fairness, he's really melodramatic.
And this version doesn't have the line about wanting to monopolize his time, so I think I did a pretty good job.
