[It...surprisingly is, actually; there's something about the quietness after-hours and the lights of the city that's relaxing in its own way. The city has always been safe (when it's not under attack by monsters, anyway); he knows that his father liked it because it was so relatively crime-free, and generally there isn't much to worry about, even being out so late.
It's peaceful, while still holding enough things to look at to be distracting; he can see why Jaeger likes it so much.
...That said, he fully expects the man to say something at some point, just because he apparently has issues with being quiet for longer than a few minutes.]
