He'll take a moment, at least, to regroup and get behind a damn tree himself; cover is appreciated right now, though he won't stay for long before trying to circle around another way and work out exactly what Silver is trying to do. Intercept before he can do it, try to catch him a bit more off-guard.]
[Well, provided that Wesker can find him quickly enough, he is sneaking off to go climb up a tree. It's a good vantage point, but getting up branches is much harder than getting up buildings and he has to carry a huge plastic gun all the way up there to boot. He's wide open.]
[That's one way to get him to scramble up faster- he has no choice but to take a good amount of shots from Wesker, but at least he can turn around and return fire eventually. Damn, that was bad. But hey, now he has the high ground--!]
[You do, in fact, have the high ground. Well-spotted, Obi-Wan. That said, the high ground in this case is stationary, and god, he is grateful for all the pointless trees on his property right now because the cover they're offering is a godsend.
...I mean, that kind of puts everyone at something of an impasse for the time being, but it's better that than soaked, probably.]
[Damn. It's going to be fairly obvious if he ends up leaving the tree too. Where does he go from here?
...
There's a good amount of silence, and then Silver throws a ball in Wesker's general direction. Totodile is sort of unceremoniously deposited out of said ball about two feet above the ground and has a less than stellar landing. Silver really needs to work on his aim with that. Regardless, Totodile's quick to straighten himself up, shake his head, and look for Wesker.
This is totally cheating, but you know what, Wesker has a hose somewhere that he doesn't know about. Fair's fair.]
She's amazed too. So much so it's a little ... flattering? That's probably a good word for it. And as such, she's more than all over driving to his place that night after telling Toushiro and Silver she'll be out. She even brings a particularly nice wine bottle that even if they don't end up using it it's a nice welcoming gift. ]
[You know what, he will even ensure that his helldogs are put up somewhere that they'll be out of the way and won't maul you, because that is a thing that tends to happen to people in this residence and he should probably be more bothered by this than he is.
However, mauling Elda is not a thing that's going to be allowed to happen today, and the dogs have chilled the fuck out and are nowhere that they'll be a nuisance, and while he always generally looks presentable, he...actually has the sunglasses off for once; he appreciates the wine, all right.]
...Elda. It's good to see you.
[...Flattering or not, this is still what you have chosen to align yourself with, Elda, good lord.]
[ The fact it is past sundown is the only reason that she isn't wearing sunglasses, honestly. But here she is, in all her glory - her hair styled a little despite the short notice (just brushed nice and pushed up here and there, nothing fancy) and wearing a nice dress (though not one she doesn't wear regularly anyway) she comes to door and is pleasantly surprised that she doesn't see a dog anywhere.
Those things are spooky.
Speaking of spooky, she is looking up at him with bright red eyes, which in the light of the night might almost be a little reflective, like a predator of some sort ]
I have to "spar" with somebody for a bingo square, but I don't know how to fight, at all. But I'm going to blackout this stupid bingo card and water gun fights don't count, I checked.
So, can you punch me a couple times? I'll attempt to fight back, but realistically this is going to end up with me being a moving punching bag and I'm okay with that.
The last person who almost punched me, I'm not 100% sure they wouldn't just kill me and make it look like an accident. And you lanced a giant moth, and that was really cool.
If I'm going to get beaten up, at least I want to get beaten up by somebody who can look cool doing it.
[You can have the address, Shuji - he lives over on the rich as fuck side of town, as is probably expected given the, you know, walls and security system. But it's not as though he explicitly minds, as long as people don't make a habit of showing up uninvited.
Like, you know, half the people that have his address.]
